Here are some tools that I’ve created with AI, manually or both. These are little experiments that I am trying out to educate myself in a way that I won’t get left behind in terms of the latest trends. At the same time these projects have helped me manifest ideas that I’ve had in my imagination for years but never had an opportunity to do because of the technical difficulty. Now, ironically, not only can I build these tools in minutes, I can also break them apart and teach myself how to make them manually.

(14 July 2025) Spin to Win Random Name Chooser Version 1: I’ve been wanting to make a random name chooser because I am a teacher, and the free ones that are available sometimes have age-inappropriate ads. I wanted to make a simple name chooser app, with not too many distractions. This one one is simple, and lacks all the features I really want, but it works, and I’ve been able to use this in my classes successfully!

It’s still super-basic, but it is literally the first app that I have “built.” What blows my mind is that I’ve had this idea for years, and along comes a tool that says, “Tell me what you are thinking about”, and you can freely describe your idea and it tries its best. The fact that it’s not perfect is more heartening than disappointing because that means there is more room for improvement for myself and the tool.
